Blaise started smiling at us a few weeks ago. It's so fun to have him look at us and give us a huge, gummy grin! I finally managed to capture one on camera. 
And I captured his adorable little pout face too...

His smile is so precious - I loved seeing him yesterday at grandma's house - I'll be so glad when I feel better and I can hold him again!

you don't know me, but I'm a friend of Emily Ulmer's. I am currently a childbirth educator-in-training and also, my husband and I are thinking about having another child. I found out the hard way after moving to St. Louis that low-intervention docs are hard to come by, and then add to that the legislation against midwives, too! (well, that was recently overturned--yay!) Anyway, if you have time, i would to hear more about your thoughts on Dr. Wasserman. I've heard good things about him, but hearing first-hand info from a mom who's recently had him attend her birth would be so helpful. Specific information, such as just how "low-intervention" he is, would be much appreciated.
