How Deep the Father's Love for Us!

How deep the Father's love for us,

How vast beyond all measure

That He should give His only Son

To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss,

The Father turns His face away

As wounds which mar the chosen One,

Bring many sons to glory

Behold the Man upon a cross,

My sin upon His shoulders

Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,

Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there

Until it was accomplished

His dying breath has brought me life

I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything

No gifts, no power, no wisdom

But I will boast in Jesus Christ

His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward?

I cannot give an answer

But this I know with all my heart

His wounds have paid my ransom

This is one of my favorite songs. Congrats to you and your family-- I've been following your blog a bit after finding we lived across Lake Victoria from you for a while. God bless you guys!

So glad you guys are posting again. I enjoy the little tidbits and updates, even though you're 15 minutes away, versus 15 hours on a plane ride.

This is my favorite song - one that I hold dear. The love of a Father is so comforting.
thank you

Hi Amanda,

We are still planning to move back to STL, in about a month (May 31-June 1). When are you planning on moving, or have you already? We are looking in the Tower Grove area and would be interested in more info and pictures if you had them, including sqft, etc. (we need a fair amount of space with our twins). Where is the house? Really, any info you have would be GREAT! Thanks for thinking of me...sorry I lost your email. Mine is andrewandkristan@hotmail.com

Looking forward to hearing from you, hope the pregnancy is going well, etc.
