Four months!

Blaise is four months and a heavy 16 pounds! I thought I never wanted him to get bigger-but he's getting more fun with each day!  Daily, he's more and more interactive-smiling, laughing, singing, and babbling all the time.  When we sing to him he seems to sing along with his own little baby babble-so sweet! We are still wondering what color his hair and eyes will be.  The little hair that he has has a reddish tent in the sunlight with some blonde, yet has some darker brown as well.  His eyes are still blue like boppas and Aunt Natalee's so we'll see... (david and I both have green/hazelish eyes.)  

He tries to crawl-rapidly moving his arms and legs and scooting him bottom up and down- but he hasn't successfully moved yet (which can frustrate him at times!)

mmm He loves sucking on these leaves (and pretty much anything else!) He grabs for all sorts of things now-eating with him on out lap can be perilous at times. He's pulled the placemat, stuck his hands in our soup, grabbed the fork etc.  I thought he was getting a tooth (he drools a lot, sucks on his fingers and chews things frequently) but our pediatrician said most moms think this-but only about 10% of babies get teeth at four months.  So maybe he's just 'cutting' them and they will appear several month from now-who knows!

Daddy wants Blaise to be a musician-and to play the drums of course! (David never had his own drum set growing up and he would love to have an excuse to buy one;) Don't worry neighbors-it won't be while we're still living in our two family flat!
